    Founded in 1990 by Garry Wright, CDI Group has grown into a market leader in commercial construction, fit-out and refurbishment. Garry is well known for his signature ‘Garry-isms’—memorable sayings that have left a lasting impression on our team, like, “Get the black and white paint out,” “Don’t say I should or might; say I will or I can,” and “Phone calls are for relationships; emails are for records.” His dedication to CDI is unmatched, inspiring everyone around him with his passion for our projects, clients, and team.     Chris brings over 15 years of industry experience and a talent for handling a variety of commercial projects across WA. With a toolbox full of skills and technical know-how, he’s a pro at delivering fast and complex projects on time, within budget, and with a hands-on approach. He loves teaming up with clients, consultants, and subcontractors to ensure every project is not just safe and top-quality but also a smooth and enjoyable experience for everyone involved.

    Many of CDI’s projects are all about juggling multiple contractors in bustling, live environments, often across several floors in high-rise buildings. Having tackled various high-end CBD projects, Chris knows exactly how to make success happen while sticking to building guidelines and keeping everything running smoothly.

    Dean is a master at balancing complex construction projects, delivering them on time and on budget like a pro. With his passion for high-quality building combined with high level task and team management, Dean ensures everything runs smoothly and safely.

    As a qualified Structural Engineer and Registered Building Practitioner with over a decade of experience, Dean has tackled a variety of projects—from sleek commercial spaces and cutting-edge health facilities to intricate fit-outs and robust defence structures. He brings a wealth of knowledge to every project he leads.

    Lynden brings his diverse construction know-how to the table, he embodies our family-oriented culture and is always ready to dive in with his versatile skills and fresh perspective. With his solid qualifications and hands-on experience in everything from contract administration to project management, Lynden’s passion for numbers and his love for Excel spreadsheets have led him to focus on our estimating division.

    He’s all about working closely with clients and project partners to craft tailored pricing models, including D&C, ECI, and CM models. Lynden’s enthusiasm for streamlining systems and his charmingly nerdy approach make him an awesome member of both the estimating team and the entire CDI crew.
