Australia Place Forecourt

CDI working alongside Hassell and under the direction of Primewest, were contracted to undertake external works within the forecourt of the Australia Place Building at the Plaza Level. The works consisted of the provision of a new staircase with curved glass balustrades and honed granite risers, removal and insertion of new façade glazing and revolving door, demolition and canopy works, construction of new concrete benches and tiered planters with custom lighting, landscaping and signage installation. The design and construction of a plywood clad café in connection with the external terrace was also carried out out consisting of a compressed fiborous cement roof beneath the tenancy, custom cabinetry, stone benchtops and pivot/operable doors.
